Safety & eligibility

  • Risk level and prerequisites are assessed per programme edition before registration is confirmed.
  • Age requirements and required equipment are stated on the edition briefing.
  • Qualified facilitators lead all practical sessions; an emergency plan and emergency contact process apply to every field session.
  • Weather and cancellation policies are shared at registration; field sessions move or reschedule when conditions require it.

Certification

Certification depends on the edition and format. Where issued, it is a Planet Trotter Training Certificate with a publicly verifiable number. It is not presented as an accredited qualification unless accreditation exists for that edition.
